Personal information protection

Privacy policy and terms of use

Last updated: September 30, 2026

1. Who we are

The website www.lauserco.com is operated by Lauserco inc. ("Lauserco", "we"), 10011 Renaude-Lapointe Street, Anjou, Quebec H1J 2T4, phone 514-354-5050, email info@lauserco.com.

We protect your personal information in accordance with Quebec's Act respecting the protection of personal information in the private sector (as amended by Law 25) and, where it applies, the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).

2. Person in charge of the protection of personal information

As provided by law, the person with the highest authority at Lauserco acts as the person in charge of the protection of personal information. For any question, request or complaint, write to info@lauserco.com with "Protection of personal information" in the subject line, or by mail to the address above.

3. Information we collect

Through the website forms (quote and contact): your name, your company name, your phone number, your email address, the content of your message and your consent.

When you deal with us by other means (phone, email, services): your contact details, your role, information related to your request or file, and billing information.

Technical information: your IP address and the browsing data strictly needed to secure the website (firewall, protection of the forms against bots) and to record your cookie choices.

We do not collect sensitive information, and we make no decision based exclusively on automated processing.

4. Why we use it

We use your information only to answer your request and prepare a quote, provide and manage our services, communicate with you about your file, invoice, protect the website against abuse, and meet our legal obligations. We do not send you marketing communications without your consent, and you can withdraw it at any time.

5. Cookies

When you arrive on the website, a banner lets you accept, reject or customize cookies. Rejecting takes the same effort as accepting. No non-essential cookie is set before you choose.

  • Consent cookie (cookieyes-consent): remembers your choice for 12 months. Essential.
  • Google reCAPTCHA: protects the forms against bots. It is loaded only when you start filling in a form, never elsewhere on the website.
  • Audience measurement and advertising: none at this time. If such tools are added, they will only be enabled with your consent, given through the banner.

You can change your choice at any time with the cookie settings button shown on the website, or delete cookies from your browser.

6. Disclosure to third parties and outside Quebec

We do not sell or rent your information. We only share it with the providers we need to run the website and our services, who must protect it and use it for that purpose only:

  • Website hosting: Amazon Web Services, through Ploi (servers located in the United States).
  • Delivery of the emails sent by the forms: Brevo (France).
  • Form protection: Google reCAPTCHA (United States).
  • Our professional advisers and IT service providers, when needed.
  • Authorities, where required or permitted by law.

Some of these providers are located outside Quebec. Before such a disclosure, we assess whether the information will receive adequate protection there, and we govern the disclosure by agreement, as required by law. Your information may then be subject to the laws of those jurisdictions.

7. Retention and security

We keep your information for as long as needed for the purposes described above or as required by law, then destroy or anonymize it securely. Server and security logs are kept for a limited time.

We apply reasonable security measures: encrypted connections (HTTPS), a web application firewall, form protection, and access restricted to the people who need it. In the event of a confidentiality incident presenting a risk of serious injury, we notify the people concerned and the Commission d'accès à l'information.

8. Your rights

You may at any time:

  • request access to the information we hold about you;
  • request its correction if it is inaccurate, incomplete or ambiguous;
  • withdraw your consent to its use;
  • request that its dissemination stop, or that a hyperlink attached to your name be de-indexed;
  • request that it be sent to you in a structured, commonly used technological format (portability).

Write to the person in charge of the protection of personal information (section 2). We answer within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with our answer, you can contact the Commission d'accès à l'information du Québec (www.cai.gouv.qc.ca).

9. Changes

We may change this policy. The version in force is always published on this page, with its update date.
